About elevateU

Children In Classroom

elevateU was built on one belief - that the skills which determine how well a young person navigates life are rarely taught in school.

Emotional intelligence, communication, self-awareness, resilience - these aren't soft skills.

They're the foundation everything else is built on.

At ElevateU, we understand the unique needs of young learners in India. Our enriching programs blend essential life skills with a culturally relevant approach, fostering both personal and academic growth.

Why I built elevateU

I spent 25 years working across Fortune 50 companies — Amazon, Expedia, Morgan Stanley, HSBC - leading global teams and watching what actually determined who thrived and who didn't. It was never just competence. It was always the human skills. How someone handled pressure. How they communicated in conflict. How self-aware they were.

When I came back to India and looked at what was being offered to young people here - I saw a gap. Smart kids, enormous pressure, and almost no structured support for the skills that matter most.

elevateU is my answer to that gap.

The people behind elevateU

Three careers. Three continents. One shared belief — that human skills are the foundation everything else is built on.

Founder & Global head

Mudita

A global programme and project management leader with 25 years across Fortune 50 organisations including Amazon, Expedia, Morgan Stanley, and HSBC. Having led international teams across the UK, US, and India, Mudita saw firsthand that what separates exceptional professionals from merely competent ones is never technical skill alone - it's emotional intelligence, communication, and self-awareness. elevateU is her answer to building those skills early, in the Indian context, before the world demands them.

Co-Founder & India head

Vipula

A lawyer by training, Vipula has practised and advised across some of the world's most demanding legal environments - top-tier firms in the UK, New York, Hong Kong, and East Asia. Her move into India's policy space, working with the Government of India, gave her a sharp understanding of what Indian children genuinely need to compete on a global stage -  and what the current education system is not equipping them with. At elevateU, she brings that policy lens and global perspective directly into curriculum design.

Chief Advisor

John Rees

With 25 years at the heart of PSHE education in the United Kingdom, John brings a depth of expertise in life skills curriculum design that is rare globally. A practitioner, advocate, and consultant who has shaped how life skills are taught across UK schools and internationally, John ensures that elevateU's curriculum is grounded in what actually works in a classroom - not just what sounds good on paper. His involvement gives elevateU direct access to the gold standard of structured PSHE delivery.

Built for Indian schools and families

Most life skills content available in India today is adapted from Western programmes - designed for different classrooms, different family structures, and different pressures. We built elevateU differently.

Every session, every module, and every facilitation approach is designed around the realities of Indian childhood — board exam pressure, joint family dynamics, the weight of parental expectation, and the gap between what school teaches and what life actually requires.

We work directly with schools in India as curriculum partners, and with families across India through our programme. Our curriculum has been developed with input from legal, policy, and education professionals across India, the UK, and globally.
